Five course Wine-makers dinner featuring Echeverria Wines – May 3

Thirsty for something new?  And hankering for something delicious to go with that new wine?  Come to our wine-makers dinner on May 3!

 Our May wine-tasting event will be a wine-makers dinner on Thursday, May 3, 2012, with Julie Ward from Saverio Schiralli Agencies Ltd.  Tickets are only $49/per person, including tax and gratuity. 

We are featuring five different Echeverria Wines, including a prosecco to start. We are very pleased to have Viviana Echeverria who is joining us to speak about her family’s wines.  To learn more about the Echeverria vines, here is their site: http://www.echewine.com/home.html

Wine-tasting – Old world vs. new world vines – April 3, 2012

Join us for our next wine-tasting event at 4th and Vine Winebar and Bistro, on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 7-9 pm.

At this wine-tasting event we will compare old world vines against new world vines.

Three old world wines, will be pitted against three new world wines, and each wine course accompanied with small plates from Chef Lindsay Porter.  Mike from Artisan Wines will guide wine tasters through the subtleties of the tastes of old world vines, comparing them to new world vines of the same varieties.

Welcome to the first of our series of wine tastings each month.

This first wine tasting is Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 7-9 pm at 4th and Vine Winebar and Bistro.

On Wednesday September, 2nd we are holding a Chardonnay tasting. Curtis Bawden (Pacific Wines & Spirits) and Natasha Susylinski (Summit Fine Wines) are bringing down some wonderful little gems – 7 to be precise, and our chefs are busily working on a menu of 4 specially crafted food pairings..all for only $40!
